Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook?

Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook?

Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook? Facebook and music apps that require a Wi-Fi connection to play your favorite songs can add significantly to your monthly mobile data usage. For example, if you’ll open apps can be seen by tapping the Home button twice.you’re using them on a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer, resources are doubled. It’s not uncommon for one app to pause while the other plays its sound; if this happens then try these steps:

Answer: Facebook’s video autoplay feature interrupts the song being played by the music app.

Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook? What is the best way to keep the music playing while using Facebook?

Now that you understand why your music app closes every time you open Facebook, here are some easy fixes to try next time.

1. You can turn off Facebook’s automatic playing feature

1) Open the settings of Facebook on your mobile device.

2) Tap on the three dots on the top right for Android and iOS, or click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner for PC/Mac. Choose Settings.

3) Scroll down to find Preferences on your phone, and Videos on your desktop (this may differ depending on which version of Facebook you’re using).

4) On your phone, toggle off Auto-Play Videos under Media in Preferences; for PC/ Mac, look for Video Settings (under Videos), and make sure that it is set to Off.

5) Play some music while using Facebook to try out this fix! If there are no more problems playing videos after this step, then congratulations! You have successfully resolved them all!

2. Kill Background Apps

Some people may experience an issue where the music stops playing when opening Facebook. This can happen if there are some apps running in the background that take up more processing power than they should and deactivate other apps while they are at it.

On iPhone:

: By swiping up, you can close an app.

On Android:

To kill an app on your phone, long-press the middle button if your phone has one to see open apps. If there isn’t a button, swipe from the bottom to the middle of the screen and keep it held down until you see some running apps. Swipe up when you find the one you want to close.

On Windows:

  • Press Alt + CTRL + Del.
  • Your task manager will open.

On Mac:

Click on the apple symbol in the top left corner.  You can force the program to quit by clicking Force Quit in the menu that opens. Several apps will be running in the background. Select one at a time and kill it if you so desire.

3. Restart Your Device

The ultimate solution to doing away with the issue is restarting your device. If your phone does not turn off after a few minutes, hold down the power button. To turn on Windows, go to Start and select Power > Shut Down. To turn on Mac, go to Apple Icon > Shutdown

Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook? Whenever I open another app, my music stops playing. Why is this happening?

Other apps will cause similar problems when used simultaneously with the Music app. This may be due to insufficient processing power in your phone. To avoid this, close down any unnecessary apps and disable the Auto-Play video option on Facebook. Turn off your phone for a few minutes to see if the issue persists. If it does continue, you may want to contact customer service for assistance.

Why Does My Music Stop When I Open Facebook? Whenever I open Facebook, my music stops. What’s wrong? As a result

Unfortunately, Facebook can be a power-draining app. In combination with the music app, it may cause undue stress on your processor; whether you’re using your phone or PC.

This can make either of these apps unable to play any content at all which might result in crashes for either one – but especially for devices that are less powerful than average as both applications will tax them heavily.

However, if you’re lucky enough to have a device that has an adequate amount of processing power, this overload could just be caused by another detail such as Facebook’s autoplay video feature. Read up on how to disable this option above!
